Heartland Pagan Festival 2004 Update

This year’s Heartland Pagan Festival theme was “Insight By Firelight.” We offered 49 adult and 28 Gaea Youth workshops with subjects ranging from whimsical to spiritual. The guest speakers and concerts were riveting, diverse, and greatly enjoyable. The rituals were touching, and the community ritual fires spectacular.

We’d like to say a HUGE thank you to the people who worked tirelessly to ensure the enjoyment of all who attended. With that kind of dedication, this festival can only keep getting better! We also want to thank everyone who showed up for community service time. Without your help, the festival would not be as magnificent as it is. Your help was needed and very much appreciated!

Attendance

We had a total of 1,125 attendees by Sunday of the festival. First Field was opened allowing for extra camping areas to reduce crowding.

Attendance Cap May Be Met! Pre-Register for 2005!

There is now more than one reason to pre-register for 2005. HPF has an attendance cap of 1,300 people. As community support for our festival continues to grow, we’ve come very close to reaching the attendance cap for the past several years, and we predict the trend will only continue. If we reach our cap, we face the unfortunate task of having to turn people away at the gate. Don’t let this happen to you! We highly recommended pre-registration for HPF 2005!  Also, in 2005 we will be celebrating HPF’s 20th year with very special programming and events. We expect to have our biggest crowd yet as we celebrate the milestone of two decades of community and family.

Additionally, handicapped accessible cabin space is very limited, and if you wish to request an accessible cabin, you must mail us your name, age, nature of handicap, and a photocopy of your handicapped ID card. You will receive confirmation by e-mail or phone confirming you have reserved space in a handicapped accessible cabin. Cabin space is not guaranteed, and if the number of requests exceeds available space, your name may be placed on a waiting list.

20th Anniversary T-Shirt Design!

Heartland Pagan Festival will celebrate it’s 20th anniversary in 2005.  T-shirt art has been chosen and congratulations to John Kramer for his winning submission depicting 20 years of magick. Thank you to all artists who submitted artwork.
